MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME


The University of London offer mainly distance learning with academic direction from their federal colleges and institutions including some of the biggest global names in education like LSE, King’s College and UCL.

Our brief was to create a campaign which focuses on the quality, expertise and opportunity that the university offers in global online learning, by encouraging people to sign up for their free programmes and get a taste of what it’s like to learn with the university – maybe even as a lead in to studying something much bigger.

Whilst not explicitly mentioning the global pandemic, it felt like a timely opportunity to cleverly touch upon the power of home learning with some of education’s greatest institutions. Maybe people have more time on their hands, or it’s given people the chance to think that maybe they would like to increase their knowledge, and what better place to start than with a free online course, studied at home.

The campaign was a great success, which was recognised at the 2020 Edurank Awards where it picked up the top award for Best Campaign Promoting International Study. In addition, it went on to win a further accolade at the prestigious Heist Awards, picking up the Gold Award for Best Brand/Reputation Campaign. The judges said, “This was a well-timed campaign that achieved a lot with a limited budget. Their clear objectives and KPIs led to a strong plan that delivered great ROI exceeding expectations.”

We celebrated with our client in style. Virtually.
