INTERNATIONAL MOVING IMAGE CAMPAIGNS


The University of London are one of those names we think we should know but often don’t. The University is made up of federal members that include some of the most prestigious establishments in higher education. Organisations that include UCL, King’s College and LSE as well as many others, who equally held in high regard.

Whilst there’s no campus or London-based student experience in the conventional sense, the University delivers courses to tens of thousands of international students every year. Both graduate and post-graduate courses are studied by overseas students with academic guidance from the federal colleges themselves.

Them Studio have a longstanding relationship with the University both at a central level and with many of its member colleges including City, Bayes (previously Cass Business School), LSE, St George’s, London Business School, UCL and SOAS. But its our involvement at the heart of the University of London that has taken the limelight for us more recently. We’ve worked closely in developing the brand of the worldwide offering over the years and have been commissioned on many occasions to create image libraries for the hard working marketing team. After the success of our double award winning ‘Make yourself at home’ film, we’ve gone on to develop an ongoing series of course-specific promotional films.

Each film is scripted, story-boarded and animated into three minute films and a series of 15 and 30 second advertising clips. They form the backbone of the promotional activity for the courses and visually take the viewer through the course offering. They are designed to overcome the challenges of explaining often quite complicated course content to people whose first language isn’t English through visual storytelling.
